System Resource Strings

There are a number of predefined resource strings within Sage, all of which can be overridden at runtime via the application's configuration. The 'Sage.action.*' strings are strings that are used by system actions. The 'Sage.icon.*' strings are strings that are used to identify resource icons. The other strings are just general purpose strings used throughout Sage. These strings can be embedded within configuration files by using a resource reference. Resource references can also be used to reference custom named icon and string resources added via the resourceIconsURL and the resourceStringsURL properties in the application's configuration.

Resource references are references that are prefixed with the string literal ‘resource:’. The string after the resource prefix is used to retrieve the resource string associated with the specified name. Below is an example of embedding a resource reference:
